Old Boys XI in the Arthurian League
OLD HABERDASHERS FOOTBALL CLUB
OHAFC was set up in 1993 by Andy Evans and Matt Regan and has been a member of the Arthurian League since 1994, a league made up of similar old boys teams which is reputed to be the oldest organised league in the world!
The opposition consists of old boys teams from schools such as Aldenham, Charterhouse, Winchester, Eton and Harrow. Further details of the league may be found here: http://www.arthurianleague.couk/.
The league, in our opinion, is an excellent league in which to play as the football is competitive but fair and all the teams endeavour to play attractive football.
We are a friendly club who enjoy our football and are always keen to welcome new players. We now play our home games at the School and cater for a wide range of playing abilities, from those who have played for their University First Team to those who have hardly played since leaving school, and all are welcome.
We hold various social events throughout the season and also play an annual match against the School’s current 1st XI.
It may be that you are taking some time off before University, would like to play during your vacations or have returned to the area after finishing University - whatever the reason it would be good to hear from you. If you would like to find out more, please contact Joe or Anastasis at ohfcfixtures@gmail.com.
We look forward to hearing from you.
