Web Archive

The web archive is relatively new to the site. The intention is to add a series of articles, stories, and photographs that will help Haberdashers to remember their time at the School or enjoy the memories of others. To go to the embryonic photo archive, click here.

For starters, we include below four fascinating articles by Ken Blessley, Gordon Wallwork, David Godrich and John Holmes about life at School in the 1920s,1930s and the war years respectively. Plus some of a series of articles published in the OHA magazine in earlier years about the Headmasters and Robert Aske. There is also an extensive and witty article by Hamish Adam about life as a boarder 30 years ago which has proved to be a very popular adition to the web site. Finally, therre is an amusing article by Ken Blessley about the exploits of Old Haberdashers asociated with the acquisition and maintenance of the Old Haberdashers' Sports Ground from the mid thirties up to the war years.
