If you are interested in joining OHRFC you have two choices. You can talk to one of the Club members, or you can contact Michael Yeabsley for a Welcome Pack about the club. If you think you may know someone else who may be interested, then you can pass these details on.

HISTORY

Old Haberdashers’ RFC was founded in 1923 and is one of the oldest Old Boys clubs in England. Originally comprising former pupils from Haberdashers’ Elstree, and formerly in North London, the club still enjoys strong links with the School.

LINKS TO THE SCHOOL

We are currently concentrating on solidifying the affiliation, as the lure of professional commitments in sport and business have taken their toll on ours and other clubs. Working closely with the school’s rugby administrators, we envisage an upswing in the number of young members joining and staying with the club over a number of years despite other commitments. Such has been the tradition that we now aim to revive.

OPEN TO ALL

As well as this implicit association, our open membership has often been the lifeblood of the club in recent years. We actively encourage members to participate on and off the field, and have a full calendar of playing and social events for nine months of the year, including an annual dinner, Spring Ball and Easter Tour.

FUN

A key word for the OHRFC and its members - our rugby is occasionally dazzling, but always fun.
