25th May OHA ANNUAL DINNER

 
 I am pleased to invite you to the 2010 Dinner which will again take place in the elegant surroundings of the Haberdashers’ Hall on Tuesday 25th May 2010. 
 
I am delighted that Lord Brittan of Spennithorne has very kindly agreed to speak on the night.  Also attending will be the current Master of the Haberdashers’ Company, George Pulman along with the Headmaster of the school, Peter Hamilton, the Director of External Relations, Peter Spence, and the current School Captain, Aaron Taylor.
 
The ticket price, which includes pre-dinner reception drinks, wines and port, will be £75 for members, £80 for guests. Members under 30 years old are offered a concessionary rate of £40.
 
Dress will be dinner jackets and the reception starts at 6.30 pm with dinner served promptly at 7.00 pm. After the dinner, a cash bar will be available until 11.00 pm and we hope that those who are able to stay for a nightcap will make use of this facility. 
 
Please let us know whether you will be joining us on 25th May by returning the attached booking form to myself as soon as possible, but no later than 23rd April please.

FORTHCOMING EVENTS
OLD LAGS LUNCH

Lunch at the Clubhouse for retired members of the Association. Contact Peter Vacher by email or phone (020 8428 6060) for more details of this and future lunches - they are held every 6 weeks or so.

12th June TOUR OF HISTORIC ALDENHAM HOUSE.

The school has invited members of the OHA to tour Aldenham House from 2.00 to 3.30 p.m. on Saturday 12th. June.

The tour will be led by John Wigley, author of the school history, "Serve and Obey", will include an exhibition of the 1961 move to Elstree, and conclude with tea and biscuits.

7th uly ANNUAL CADET REUNION DINNER, 2010.
The annual Cadet Reunion Dinner will be held at the RAF Club, Picadilly, on Wednesday 7th. July.

Inivitations will be sent out shortly, asking you to reply to the new SSI, Sgt. S. MacPherson, at the school.
