The 1st XV beat Imperial Medical Rugby Club (the merged London Hospitals side made up of St Mary's, Westminster Hospital etc) by a convincing score of 52-5 on Saturday in front of a large and well lubricated crowd of around 50 former players who had enjoyed lunch beforehand in the clubhouse. In the morning the newly formed Presidents XV (essentially a Veterans side) had beaten Chess Valley by the same margin of 52-5. They are all looking forward to another outing, providing similar opposition can be found and that their various strains, pulls and bruises have mended!

Over 50 OH from many walks of life but mainly City based enjoyed the event organised by Alan Newman, hosted by Jason Zemmel and with Tim Steiner (founder of Ocado) as the guest speaker.
